We watched INTERMISSION last night with Cullin Murphy and Colin Farrel. Its like SNATCH meets LOVE ACTUALLY (which I didn't even like, however..I did love INTERMISSION).

Its an off-beat story with local irish color of the regular working class. It starts off with Farrel hitting on the coffee shop girl..and then he actually bust her nose open and steals the til. Soon you get the idea, this is all this guy knows. But then there is Murphy's character who's pretty girlfriend has taken up with a married man, and he's crushed. He also has a no-end job at Mega-Mart. Thus he's got an older buddy to rely on who drives a bus & somehow this guy who drives the bus gets mixed up with Farrel's character. Of course, Farrel's arch nemisis is this police detective who's no more of a bully than he is. Throw in a girl with a mustache, a Mom who looks so much like Shawn's Mom from SHAWN OF THE DEAD and a few other obstacles of bad management guys and a news guy after the "real story" in town..you're in for a ride.

The downside, its hard to understand so you'll have to watch it more than once because you'll want to watch Cullin's lips and his dazzling eyes and all the emotions he displays through this speedy & bump film. You'll see disguises, chases and a rotten little kid on a bike. Oh and don't for get the Molly Flogg'n yell'n of Colin Farrel at the end when he sings "I fought the law and the law won." And I might remind you, you'll never see 'brown sauce' the same way again.
